So currently I have a design that I use which uses an image library. I offer a product on the site with the same design but each one uses a different library across all the text fields. I want to be able to set the Library Globally to the design, which will apply it to all the sub elements. Everytime I improve the design I have to go into all 30 different design files to add the same enhancement changes which is tedious. An example is I have a design that shows image library Heart phrases, but I have a clone of it showing image library Diamond phrases, and another one with Club phrases and 27 more like this, all connected to tshirts and tank top products. Approach A: If I had a Global library setting and could make an option to Select a Library , and be able to set a filter to include all libraries starting with word ZZZZ, I could use a single source file for the design and any changes I make would apply to all products no matter what image library they were displaying. Approach B: Alternatively if I could pass the library ID via a variable such as Library=11111111 to the design and when the customer loads the product they would see that specific library on all the elements, I could create a product and duplicate that product numerous times and just change the library via a parameter or metafield in shopify.
