Swap Font
Rylie
Feature that lets me swap out one font for another (similar to how I can update a vector for example)
I occasionally have to fix a font that has an issue (such as adding missing special characters) and reupload it to customily. To do that, I need to go through and manually change the font on every template that uses it, then once I finish that delete the original font.
Depending on how many templates it was used on, this process can take hours.

This functionality is already implemented ;)
It's called Font libraries.
Give it a go and let us know how it worked for you :D

Alejandro Lozdziejski I don't have the font libraries implemented and don't intend to make a library for each individual instance of a font we use.
I have a font that is locked on on say 50 different templates. I need to manually replace each instance of the font in each textbox and once I replace them all I need to delete the old font that has the issues so it doesn't get used again accidentally.

Alejandro Lozdziejski If I could send the fixed font to somebody on your end and get it replaced in the database - that would be equally useful but I was told that it isn't possible.

Rylie, if you use font libraries, you could replace the font in question in the library all the templates that use said library will be automatically updated. This is the reason why libraries were created to prevent having to update each template individually and managing all your assets from a centralized location

Alejandro Lozdziejski I understand the use of libraries, it was our company who paid to get them implemented at my request.
To me it doesn't make sense to have dozens of font libraries that contain an individual font for each individual font we use just in case this situation comes up. That is days or potentially weeks of additional work for the occasional fix. Especially since I would need to go back and implement them on 1000+ templates for each text box.
Unless you have a way to automate that which I'm unaware of, it isn't a feasible option for us, and likely other companies.
