I want to do engraving on acrylic and I am unsure how ur system communicates to shine on if it will be a printed or engraved. Either way if I were to use the method in your youtube videos where i create a mask from a background cut out then that background color will be printed on the acrylic when i just need it to be transparent. If I were able to use the image placeholder and then nest the star map under it so it will act as the image then the customer can edit the star map and it will take the form of the masked place holder while making things transparent which will work or either printed or engraved acrylics.

Or add a feature in the star map and map in image behavior to add a mask. I have a image in the placeholder for now to show that there is a mask there
