Dear Customily Team,
Hello!
I would like to inquire about when sub-account-level control will be available for the Core Modules (Libraries, Option Sets, Products, and Store Management). This feature is essential for our team’s management and collaboration, and I would appreciate any information about the development schedule or estimated release date.
Thank you very much!
Best regards
Augusto D'Amario
Dear Jackal ,Thank you for reaching out! I’m happy to share that access management is already available for 'Templates' and 'Libraries': https://customily.canny.io/changelog/team-user-restricted-mode-released
Additionally, we’ll be launching access control for Store Management and Option Sets in the next couple of weeks.
We appreciate your interest in this feature and will keep you updated as we roll out these improvements.

Dear Augusto,
Thank you so much for your prompt reply and for sharing this information! I am truly delighted to hear that Customily has already implemented access management for “Templates” and “Libraries,” and that you are about to launch access control for “Store Management” and “Option Sets.” Your team’s efforts and rapid progress in this area are truly commendable.
I believe this news is not only a great relief for us but also something that will excite many other sellers using Customily. For teams like ours, having more granular control over “Store Management” and “Option Sets” will significantly enhance our efficiency and collaboration. Especially when multiple team members need to manage different modules simultaneously, this feature is absolutely essential.
I sincerely hope this feature can be launched as soon as possible because we are indeed in urgent need of this improvement to optimize our management process. This is currently our top-priority requirement, and I believe it holds the same importance for other sellers as well.
I truly appreciate all your efforts and dedication! We will closely follow the progress of this feature and look forward to staying in touch with you. Please feel free to reach out if you have any updates or need feedback from users.
Thank you once again for your reply and the hard work of your team!
Best regards,
Jackal

Merged in a post:
Each user should be only able to view and edit their own design.
CLEMENT JAW
I hope your app can create a few accounts to log in to, just like Shopify, so different people who log in will only be able to access and view the design created by them, will not be able to see other people's designs. We will engage a few designers, we find that this feature is a need for a store with a few staff. For security reasons, we don't wish any staff could view or even edit the design not done by them.

Hello, Augusto D'Amario,
Thank you for the update on the permission controls for the Template module! This feature is highly valuable for our business. However, we have noticed that other core modules (Libraries, Option Sets, Products, and Store Management) still lack account-level permission isolation.
This functionality is crucial for us and many other merchants as well. Do you have any plans to introduce permission controls for these modules? If so, could you share an estimated timeline?
Thanks!

Augusto D'Amario
Update: We've just released the 'Restricted' user type called Collaborator. You can now control your collaborator's access to Templates.
Note: Templates created by the collaborator are automatically added to their granted list. The owner can later revoke access if needed.

Congratulations on the successful launch of permission controls for the Template module! This enhancement significantly improves security and collaboration efficiency. However, we noticed that other core modules (Libraries, Option Sets, Products, and Store Management) still lack permission configuration capabilities. The current partial implementation may lead to:
Incomplete Security Coverage: Unauthorized access to critical data (e.g., product details, store settings) could result in data breaches or accidental modifications.
Requests:Please share the development timeline for permission controls in these modules.
Trân trọng cảm ơn!
Augusto D'Amario
Update: The first release of 'Restricted' mode, which will allow you to manage Template access, is just around the corner. Stay tuned!

Augusto D'Amario Awesome! Looking forward to the new feature! 😊

Update: We plan to introduce a 'Restricted' user type, allowing the owner to specify which templates the user can access.
Next, we will extend this restriction to other assets, including Libraries, Option Sets, and Products.

I noticed you mentioned plans such as introducing a 'Restricted' user type and extending restrictions to other assets like Libraries, Option Sets, and Products. I'm really interested in these features. Could you please tell me when exactly these functions are going to be launched?

Hello,
As a seller, I’m very interested in whether Customily has plans to introduce a data isolation permission feature. Specifically, will there be an option to set access permissions for sub-accounts or staff accounts, ensuring that each user can only manage their own designs without accessing others’?
Is this feature currently in the development pipeline? If so, when can we expect it to be released? Looking forward to your response. Thank you!

Hello,
Thank you for your continued efforts in developing the "Multiple Users in an Account" feature. We have noticed that sub-accounts can now be added, but this functionality is still quite limited. To better achieve data isolation, we urgently need the ability to set permissions for sub-accounts to control user operations and access rights.
Additionally, we noticed that the progress of this feature seems rather slow. Similar software like Customall, CustoMeow, and Teeinblue has long implemented account permission isolation. We hope Customily can accelerate its product development to better meet user needs. Could you share any updates on when this feature will be available? We hope it can be implemented as soon as possible. Thank you!
Augusto D'Amario
Hi there! We've just launched a beta version that lets you add sub-users. If you're interested in testing it, feel free to reach out at augusto@customily.com

This multi-user permission feature is something we have been eagerly anticipating! As a superuser of Customily, I deeply understand the importance of permission segregation in team collaboration. Especially as team sizes grow, the current unified permission mechanism may bring potential risks in terms of security and management. For example, having all team members access and modify all templates and options could lead to accidental operations or data loss.
Role-based permission management would not only protect the team's design assets but also improve overall efficiency. For instance, allowing different team members to access and manage only their assigned parts while giving administrators the ability to oversee and make adjustments would greatly optimize team collaboration workflows and enhance data security.
I noticed that this feature has been marked as "In Progress," which is fantastic news! We are eagerly looking forward to seeing it implemented soon. Could you share if there is a specific timeline for its release? This functionality is critical for our team, and we plan to test and adopt it immediately once it is available to enhance our workflow.
Thank you to the Customily team for your continued efforts! We look forward to further updates and would be happy to provide more suggestions and feedback to help improve this feature.
