meta filter - better loading ui

we'd love to use meta filters or other ai integrations but the ui for customer is just not ok. conversion rate is probably pretty bad as is.
we need to give customers feedback that the image is processing and a nice big loading bar/circle somewhere. competitors and clients using your api do it pretty well.

Hey Tim,
Thanks so much for your message!
There are already two ways to show image processing progress in Customily:
For straming compatible filters (such as the metafilter), you can enable the streaming property, which displays a blurred image within 5 seconds that gradually sharpens until the final image is revealed.
Other image filters: Since their APIs don’t provide a streaming response, you can use the exact type of loader you mentioned.
To enable it, go to Store -> Settings -> Styles
Here’s more detail: https://customily.canny.io/changelog/enhanced-image-upload-zoom-loading-feedback-and-more
PS: For the metafilter, you can even enable a combiation of both ;)
Give these a try and let us know how they work for you!

That is a good solution on desktop or mobile modal preview. We do not use modal for two reasons:
- Not working
- Can not do an A/B test or turn it on just for some products to see effect on conversion rate.
Anyways, customers leave the page at any sign of friction. Ideally we show them progress in the configurator itself.
It does not have to be accurate. Even some bogus steps like "Sending to server, transforming the photo, downloading the photo..." would work. Meta takes a long time and without proper communication customers will leave.
On that note, would it be possible to test meta ai with processing done only on production file? So customer does not see preview but also does not have to wait on product page for it to load.
