Currently, the print PDFs generated by Customily are limited to the four process colors CMYK. For many professional print products it would be extremely helpful to allow additional color channels (spot colors).
This would enable things such as:
  • crop marks and registration marks
  • fold marks
  • die-cut lines
  • Pantone spot colors
  • gold or silver foil
  • spot UV or varnish layers
Many printing companies require separate spot color channels for varnish, foil or die-cut lines in the print PDF.
It would not even require many additional channels. The ability to define 2–3 additional spot colors besides CMYK would already cover most professional print workflows.
This would make Customily significantly more powerful for professional print production.
This topic has already been mentioned in several other threads. I wanted to formulate the request clearly and in one place.
It would be great to see this implemented.
